Rev. Bill Giebel (Ge bul), a retired widower, was hired to assist Maude in caring for Reuben F. when he was terminally ill. Bill Giebel became a close friend of all the Punnetts in Daytona, especially Maude. There were whispers about the two of them, but no evidence that they were ever more than friends. Bill Giebel was born in Rochester July 21, 1887.
